Debt distress is rising; climate finance commitments lag the scale of the transition; and the rules that shape cross-border payments, trade flows, and social protection systems are too often written elsewhere.<\/p><p>African Renaissance Trust treats this as a question of sovereignty as much as economics. Our work is to position African institutions \u2014 AU, RECs, ministries of finance \u2014 as architects of the rules that govern the continent's own economic future, not recipients of
