We were established in 2019 as a Pan-African think tank inspired by the ideals of Pan-Africanism and the African Renaissance, which are central to Africa’s Agenda 2063. Our formation was in response to long-standing inequalities that continue to limit dignity, opportunity, and well-being across the continent.
From the start, our focus has been on generating ideas, evidence, and partnerships that shape policies and support Africa’s shared vision for inclusive and people-centred development. Today, our work continues to contribute to Agenda 2063’s aspiration for a healthy, empowered, and socially just Africa.
A Force for Progress
We work at the intersection of vision and reality, serving as a bridge between Africa’s long-term development goals and the everyday experiences of its people. By bringing together research, policy dialogue, and lived experience, we help shift conversations towards solutions that are practical, inclusive, and African-led.
Our work supports Agenda 2063’s call for accountable leadership, strong institutions, and active citizen participation. Through collaboration and shared responsibility, we help ensure that progress is not only planned on paper but also felt in communities and households across Africa.
