About Mr. Elie

Elie Kwasivura
Policy Advisor

Elie Kwasivura is a Policy Advisor based at the African Union Commission in Addis Ababa. He supports the African Renaissance’s diplomatic and policy engagement across continental organs.

With 13 years of experience in policy development, peace-building, human rights, and administration, he provides guidance that strengthens the Trust’s advocacy and regional impact. Elie holds a Master’s degree in Political Science and Peace & Security Management in Africa and is fluent in English, French, and Swahili.

About Ms. Giada

Giada Gelli
Gender and Social Inclusion Advisor

Giada Gelli brings 16 years of experience in development, focusing on gender and social inclusion. She provides technical expertise for creating tools and frameworks that integrate inclusive practices into programs, especially in sanitation initiatives.

Giada holds a Law degree, a postgraduate qualification in International Politics and Development, and training in Disability Inclusion. Fluent in English, Italian, Portuguese, and conversant in Spanish, she ensures African Renaissance programs are equitable and responsive to all communities.

Suad Rashid
Research Advisor

Suad Rashid is an Epidemiologist and Research Advisor at African Renaissance. She designs programs to identify health risks, implements interventions, and leads surveys and field research.

Skilled in statistical and epidemiological analysis, she supports evidence-based decision-making that improves health outcomes. Suad’s work ensures African Renaissance programs are grounded in data and deliver measurable impact for communities across the continent.
