Caroline Kwamboka N
Caroline Kwamboka leads African Renaissance Trust as its vision bearer, ensuring the mission stays alive and impactful. An accomplished International Development and Policy Advocacy Expert, she inspires policymakers and political leaders to prioritise health, gender, and development initiatives across Africa.
Her experience spans Africa, Europe, and Asia, having built and led multicultural teams and worked with communities in over 44 Sub-Saharan countries. Driven by a deep commitment to advancing the dignity of women and girls, Caroline implements strategic, diplomatic, and evidence-based interventions.
As Trustee and irector, she ensures the Trust’s vision translates into real change, inspiring colleagues and partners to contribute to a brighter, more equitable future for Africa.
Sarah Anyang’
H.E. Prof. Sarah Mbi Enow Anyang Agbor is African Renaissance’s lead on African Union Affairs. A distinguished scholar from Cameroon, she has over 25 years of experience in African and Commonwealth Literature and policy.
From 2017 to 2022, she served as AU Commissioner for Human Resources, Science, and Technology (HRST), advancing human capital and technology across the continent. She has supported AU Member States and Regional Economic Communities in research, education, youth empowerment, and inter-African cooperation.
Prof. Sarah’s advocacy for continental integration has helped shape policies that benefit millions. Recognized among the inaugural 100 Most Influential African Women in 2019, she continues to provide technical guidance and thought leadership that drives Africa’s development and regional collaboration.
Beatrice Ng’ethe
Beatrice Ng’ethe leads all legal and corporate governance functions at African Renaissance Trust. An accomplished High Court advocate in Kenya, she also holds certifications as a Public Accountant and Public Secretary.
With over eight years of experience, Beatrice ensures legal compliance and financial integrity across the organisation. She combines deep legal knowledge with financial expertise to safeguard the Trust’s operations while navigating complex regulatory landscapes.
Her careful oversight allows the organisation to focus on delivering impact while ensuring transparency and accountability. Beatrice’s professionalism and strategic approach make her a key pillar in strengthening the Trust’s legal and financial foundation.
Herman Gathura Ngure
Herman Ngure leads the Trust’s finance and administration teams, bringing over 15 years of experience across local and international institutions. A Certified Public Accountant with a Master’s in Business Administration from USIU and a Bachelor of Business Management from Moi University, he excels in financial strategy, planning, and performance management.
Herman is passionate about turning complex financial data into actionable insights that drive sustainable growth. His work ensures that African Renaissance Trust maintains strong financial health, allocates resources efficiently, and maximizes impact across its programs, empowering communities and supporting long-term organizational sustainability.

Francis Ndiga
Francis Ndiga is a founding Trustee with over 25 years of experience as a Kenyan Agri-Economist. He brings expertise in finance, international affairs, logistics, and contract management. Francis links strategic decision-making with practical implementation, fostering growth and innovation.
His business acumen and commitment to excellence support African Renaissance’s mission, reinforcing governance and inspiring positive change across the continent.
Ms Boemo Mmandu Sekgoma
Sekgoma serves as a Board Member from Botswana and is the Secretary General of the SADC Parliamentary Forum. She has over 20 years of executive leadership experience, fostering collaboration among parliamentarians across 16 SADC member states.
Her work strengthens regional dialogue, promotes socio-economic and political development, and advances African integration. Sekgoma’s strategic vision and leadership help African Renaissance achieve impact through strong regional partnerships.
Brucker M.
Brucker M., a German national, serves on the Board and as Regional Director for Faith to Action Network in Europe. With 15 years of experience, he specialises in resource mobilisation, monitoring and evaluation, health financing, gender equality, and sexual and reproductive health programs.
Brucker’s expertise strengthens African Renaissance’s capacity to implement evidence-based, impactful programs while ensuring accountability and sustainable outcomes across its initiatives.
Sarah Anyang’ Agbor
Prof. Sarah Mbi Enow Anyang Agbor also serves as a Board Member, bringing her AU experience and academic excellence to governance.
Her work in human capital, education, and youth empowerment informs the African Renaissance strategy, ensuring alignment with continental priorities and Agenda 2063. She continues to shape policy and development initiatives that benefit communities across Africa.
Mpho Lecoge
Mpho Lecoge from South Africa brings expertise in organisational strategy, people processes, and performance management. She advises on change management, project management, and integration of organisational systems.
Her guidance helps African Renaissance optimise operations, enhance team capability, and achieve sustainable impact.
Ndamuka Marimo
Ndamuka Marimo from Zimbabwe serves on the Board and as Chief Director of External Relations in the Zimbabwe Parliament. He facilitates collaboration between the Parliament and regional/international organisations, ensuring Zimbabwe’s voice and interests are effectively represented.
His experience strengthens African Renaissance’s external partnerships and continental engagement.
Dr Christopher Kalila
Dr. Kalila from Zambia brings medical and political leadership to the Board. A trained physician, he worked as a General and Family Practitioner for 17 years before transitioning into politics.
He served as Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, Deputy Minister of Health, and chaired parliamentary committees on Education, Health, and TB initiatives.
Dr Kalila combines policy knowledge with on-the-ground health expertise to advance social welfare and community health across Zambia and the region.
